HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) relies on intermittent breathing of hyperbaric pure oxygen in patients entering the chamber. It is an evidence-based, scientific and medical treatment method whose scientific effectiveness has been proven by numerous studies. (HBOT) is a treatment that provides successful results in many diseases by increasing the oxygen level in the blood and tissues

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is applied in a pressure chamber where oxygen is intermittently inhaled under high pressure, depending on the cause of the disease and the condition of the patient. This inhaled oxygen increases the dissolved oxygen in the blood and ensures that the tissues are fed not only with blood but also with dissolved oxygen. Since dissolved oxygen is self-sufficient, it can easily spread over longer distances in the tissue and is easy to use in the tissue. This helps oxygenate non-bleeding tissue and heal wounds. Hyperoxia also dissolves the edema in the edema tissue, making it easier for the tissue to reach the blood and oxygen. In addition, it increases the body's ability to fight germs, and the antibiotics used will be more effective and have a greater effect on germs. With the applied pressure, it helps to reduce or even disappear the air bubbles that occur in conditions such as stress. It is easier for the body to clean the shrinking air bubbles. Hyperbaric oxygen is also important in the separation of carbon monoxide from the attached blood cells and in repairing the damage caused by this poison, as in the case of stove-tube gas poisoning.
All patients who are reported in the indication list according to SSI in the private centers established today can benefit from this treatment. We provide 24-hour service for emergencies and work in coordination with 112.

How HBO Therapy Works?
The impact of HBO is based on two principles.
1) Direct Effect of Pressure
Under the influence of direct pressure, air bubbles in the body are reduced. With this effect, we can benefit from air and gas embolism diseases.
2) Effect of Dissolved Oxygen
Under the influence of oxygen dissolved in the blood, the amount of oxygen in the tissues and fluids of the whole body increases approximately 15 times, the ability to fight microorganisms increases, cells renew themselves faster and wound healing accelerates. It is guaranteed. At the same time, reduce existing edema, destroy harmful substances produced by microorganisms, and remove harmful gases that prevent cellular respiration, such as poisonings such as stoves and bottled gas, from the body.

In Which Diseases Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Applied?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy reduced the level of tissue oxygenation is completely eliminated or sores that do not heal diabetic foot infections diabetic foot ulcers patients), avascular necrosis (death of bone tissue due to insufficient nutrition), chronic osteomyelitis (bone infection), such as Burns and skin, subcutaneous tissue and bone that are relevant to many diseases can be applied. Patients who develop sudden hearing loss and sudden visual loss are also groups of patients who have hyperbaric oxygen therapy is considered effective. In addition, hyperbaric oxygen therapy in carbon monoxide poisoning and tissue oxygenation by increasing developing after radiation therapy for many different diseases such as sores; the bends (decompression sickness and gas embolism shows a significant effect of reducing the influence of gas bubbles under high pressure.
